Set upon beautiful hilltop acreage, just outside the town of Blackbutt you will find the dream-home of Jeff and Daphene Connor.

Spanning almost 1000 square meters of home under roof, this incredible project involved months of designing and planning and a further 12 months to build, capturing every detail these creative and ambitious owners would desire.

Although one of our more complex ventures, the completion of this project resulted in two very happy home owners as well as industry recognition in the form of two prestigious awards:

Cameron Builders were approached to design and build this grand home after working together with the Connors on a successful commercial project in 2014, building a Medical Centre in Blackbutt.

The greatest honour for us is to build treasured homes for our family and friends, and when a project involves not one but two close friends we just can't pass up the opportunity.

This beautiful new Buderim home was custom built in 2016 to suit the needs of the Cant Family who we've known for over twenty years ... plus the site they chose to build on was land previously owned by more great friends of ours; it was simply meant to be!

The best part about completing this project is that we continue to enjoy the fruits of our labour, spending time with our friends, poolside!

The Coolum Beach House, perched high on one of the steepest blocks in Coolum, boasts a fresh and relaxed atmosphere made possible by the natural sun light that streams into the home, the direct ocean views and the beach-inspired textures and features that celebrate and connect with the surrounding environment.

Built in 2008, this was an incredible yet challenging build being set on a very steep block and becoming one of the highest homes in the region at the time. Before the new build could commence the original family home, full of asbestos, had to be carefully demolished and removed from site, and then there was the global financial crisis that hit just after we commenced work. But through all this we completed an incredible project that we are immensely proud of and the owners are thrilled with.

In addition to the incredible outlook and impressive street presence, another key talking point of the home is the kitchen and the natural stone front that we artistically incorporated into the build. 

Our clients discovered this piece of stone during a visit to a stone mason in Brisbane and they decided they simply had to have it even though they weren't quite sure what they were going to do with it. It was decided to use it in the kitchen and so began many hours working with our cabinet makers on how to best utilise the feature stone.

The end result is a major feature of the kitchen, and indeed of the entire house, with a back-lit panel highlighting the natural grain, which reminiscent of the coloured sands that feature in the beach dunes leading up to nearby Double Island Point on the North Shore of Noosa.

Noosa Springs felt like our second home after spending much time across 2000-2005 building three new homes in this prestigious estate.

The homes, designed by a Sunshine Coast architect, range in value from $1Million to $3Million and embody an air of sophistication, fitting of the Noosa Springs estate.
